Collessie is an ancient medieval hamlet in North East Fife, clustered around its own church standing high on the hill.  Narrow winding streets and a tumbling burn winding its way through the centre of the hamlet give Collessie a charming country air.

Previously Collessie was a thriving railway and weaving community, and now it holds conservation village status.
Thatched cottages from the 18th and 19th century, weavers cottages, the old schoolhouse and post office combine with newer conservation-style homes in the village to give the feel of a bygone age, while the Victory Hall is host to numerous events during the year, supporting the village lifestyle and providing funds for the upkeep of the Hall.
